There are a number of great museums in Charlotte, North Carolina that give off a rich history for cultural and artistic aspects. One nice museum to go to in Charlotte is the 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum that not only includes the history of the 82nd Airborne Division but also a lot of military history as well. Seeing as the museum is located at Fort Bragg, it already has an aesthetic appeal to military history. There are number of great exhibits that include rifles, handguns, and different captured uniforms. The Airborne & Special Operations Museum offers some great airborne and special operations history. There’s a lot to learn as they offer a great curriculum from kindergarten to the 12th grade for a more hands-on based experience. Right in Chapel Hill, they have their own museum which caters to the arts. There’s a lot of art on display from North Carolina as well as 1940′s streetscape and designer, Alexander Julian. It’s a very nice site to check out events, exhibits, and other interesting things. The North Carolina Museum of History is a spectacular and more in depth place. There’s numerous exhibits, artifacts, and sites just for the kids to enjoy.
